Title: Tapered Pour Spout
Post by: Kevin Houlihan on May 16, 2011, 03:41:24 AM
I'm making a horn for the first time.  What can I use to taper the inside of the pour spout?
Thanks,
Kevin

The tang on a good file works very well. You can also get tapered reams that match the taper on fiddle pegs. Very handy but it depends on how many horns you intend to make.

Steve,
I'm probably only going to make a few so the file tang should be fine.
Thanks,
Kevin

You can also buy tapered drill bits.
