Title: Michael Briggs N.C. Guns on the Contemporary Makers Blog
Post by: David Rase on May 23, 2011, 05:17:40 PM
What an impressive collection posted on the blog this morning.  Thank you Art and Jan for posting.  Thank you Michael for sharing.  I talked with and saw some of Mr. Briggs guns in 2007 at a show in Virginia while working in D.C.  What an education.

Michael, I see a picture of your powder horn book was included on the blog.  Can it be ordered?  If so, where does one send the order to and what about shipping?  Inquiring minds want to know.  I should of picked one up in 2007, hind sight is 20/20.

David,
Thank you for asking.  I have written three books so far.  1. The Longrifle Makers of Guilford County.  2. The Longrifle Makers of Forsyth County & Davidson County.  3. Piedmont North Carolina Banded Powder Horns and Hunting Bags.

All three are now professionally printed and cost $30 each, plus $3 postage each.

Just mail a check to Michael Briggs - 3705-B West Market Street - Greensboro, N.C.  27403 and tell me which book you want and where you want me to mail the book.

Thanks,

Michael
