Does anyone have any information on this gunsmith or have pictures of his work? Thanks.

Doesn't Edith Cooper's book 'The Kentucky Rifle and Me" have a photos of a Smith rifle. You might also try the first two KRA publications. Not sure about those, however. Good luck.
