William Funkhouser is one of the finest craftsmen ive ever had the chance to meet. He manages to stay pretty well under the radar but his work is first rate. After years of watching him build great bags for others I finely decided I had to have one. He had full artistc licence and this is what he came up with...

Except for the scrimshaw this is all his work. The bag was custom fitted to me and I could not be more pleased!

Wow now that is some good looking bag. I think I'll have one made just like it. Are there any copy laws? Hope not.

If you go to my web site www.scottshearifles.com and go to the links page , you will see a web page with contact info and other items that Bill has made. This is a shameless plug for him but he really does top notch work! Not the cheapest but some of the best workmanship i've seen! He's very fussy about what he does and i haven't met anyone who is unhappy with something that Bill has made for them. A true Craftsman!

Scott, Very nice bag. The long strap holding the powder measure looks very practical for reaching the muzzle of an upright longrifle.

I had a chance to see this setup in person. It is even nicer than the pictures show. Good stuff Scott.
