Title: Just stumbled across this auction page for an RCA rifle...
Post by: Stophel on August 18, 2011, 09:15:55 PM
I just happened across this page for an auction of one of the guns in RCA (I don't have it in front of me, but I think it is number 15....neat little gun!)  Nice, though not very large, color photos.   ;)

I was shocked at the price.  I could almost afford a third of that!

True!
The Jaegers just don't bring the same bucks that a Longrifle would. And it doesn't seem that the RCA connection added much, if any, to the value of this one either.

Needless to say, if that had been an equally old, equally carved Kentucky, the price would have been at least 5 times as much!  :o
