This one is about 14” around the outside curve. The butt is Cherry colored with AF, the finish is a combination of oils. The antler collar and the horn are threaded 5/8-11 the English Walnut tip is threaded ˝-13. The band is pinned with three steel bands. The horn color is from a mixture of stuff. The original was listed as having three bands with two missing, I decided to forego the ghost bands.
Once again the basic idea for this horn was taken from Bill Ivey’s North Carolina School of Long Rifles 1765-1865 and Michael Briggs’ Piedmont North Carolina Banded Powder Horns Hunting Bags and Bullet Bags.

That's a really fascinating tip treatment. I may have to try something like that sometime. I think it would have looked really good with the two other bands as well. Very nice job.
