One very similar to this one sold at the Bushy Run Show a few weeks ago for $7,500.00.  It was an honest gun with no restoration that I saw, so I'm wondering where a Beyer like this maxes out.  With the old repairs to the wood on the forearm you have to wonder if the gun is an original flintlock or has been re-converted, and so on and so on.  Anyhow, it's a nice rifle, it will be interesting to see what it goes for, I suspect a lot of people are watching this one.

The new owner got it for $6,775.00, not a bad price.

Sold, with no further bids at $6,775.
I'd say someone got a pretty good deal! Hopefully someone here!
