Title: Learn to make a plane

Woodcraft has Hock "Krenov-style" plane kits, wooden spokeshave kits, and Hock irons on sale. I'm a big fan of wooden planes, and like making my own. Here's a good way to get started successfully. AND the spokeshave kit makes a great one. Hock irons are terrific.
