Juat got some castings from Dave Keck today. Perfect wax castings, minimal cleanup, squared up,soft yellow brass that matches most sand castings and sheet brass perfectly. Highest praise. I spent the entire weekend on a sand cast T.G. and buttplate and I'm not done yet.

Contact info for Mr. Keck?

The casting set that Dave donated for the raffle rifle I built for this years Gunmaker's fair. Was the nicest castings I have ever worked with. The cast ramrod pipes actually had 3/8" dia. tubes that were not undersize, as every investment cast thimble I ever used to date was. Really nice stuff to work with!

I am using them on my current project and they have been a joy to work with, brass is very easy to work and the clean up was very minimal

Hi Guys
Do any of the links work on his site. I'm running 3 different browsers and the links are dead. I know it says best with "IE" but if it is only set up for "IE" then he is loosing out on a lot of web traffic. Just another attempt at Bill Gates ruling the world!

I just looked at the Knob Creek site and wondered if anyone had built a gun from his Fordney pattern and parts?

Guys, Thanks for the compliments.
I must apologize for my lackluster/ faulty website. It has been a work in progress from day one. For numerous reasons its never been finished.. Between inletting barrels, shaping stocks, pouring waxes and castings and a part time job.. etc. etc... it been a slow progress.
If you send me your address I'll mail you a brochure.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for e-mailing me direct
I just was confused that folks were talking about the website and I couldn't get any links to work
(Sometime web designers have a tendency to forget that Windows is not the only systems out there.)
Considering all the other Important things you are doing you surely are excused!!!
Thanks

Dave's Fordney is very good. He has a B.P. and Reeves Goering as T.G.'s at the moment cast from originals. The pipes from Dave are forthcoming. His Lancaster pipes that he has now are not out of the question. as long as you file in flats behind the thumbnail.

Thanks for the suggestions on the Fordney, Bill.
