Someone here should build one. And shoot it.

If used as a shooter, I don't doubt there's not many left!

Hi,
Based on the appearance and decoration of that pistol, I suspect it was one of H. W. Mortimer's products.  Lorenzoni's eventually became unsafe to shoot as the fit of the cylinder began to wear.  Hot gas from firing a shot could ignite the powder magazine and you were holding a hand grenade.  There are at least several surviving Lorenzoni-system guns that have blown out magazines.

If anyone is interested in a look at one dissassembled there are lots of pics of the internals and such in the Arms and Armour Annual Vol 1 (there never was a vol 2).

Looks like a huge amount of thought and engineering went into a bad idea!

I have never seen  Lorenzoni-system guns witn blown magazines. May You show me photos of blown magazines?
