Very cool idea!  I've been toying with that idea myself ever since Eric was first talking about it.  Now you have me "planning" again.

Really nice.  That is exactly what I should do with mine.  Maybe when I got some extra time on the side.  I like your staining, it gives it the perfect look.  good job!
