Title: My new project.
Post by: doug.brayman on August 05, 2013, 02:07:44 PM: Ok, so, I have not built anyting for about 12 years. I have been itching to have a flintlock pistol so, I decided to do a kit and save a little time. I chose the pistol kit from Jim Chambers. Here is where I'm at......

There is much wood to remove all over the stock. The "notch" is clearance for the cock when it is the forward position.

It's not finished, more detail will be added to the carving around the tang and a little more wire inlay work. I played around with rust bluing as well. I really like how fast the Dengler's Rust Blue works.
