Title: English ball mould maker?
Post by: Carney on February 01, 2014, 03:23:26 AM
There was a person out of Merry Olde England making a brass single cavity mould of about any diameter you wanted.

Any contact information available,

Thanks

For the record, here's my Jeff Tanner experience so far:

"Inquire" per form (turns out to be an "order") as the next thing I got was a PayPal request to be paid with 10 GBP added for shipping.

Current price is 20 GBP (any size under .600 (he makes up to 2")) plus the 10, which converts to just under 53 USD this week.

I consider that quite reasonable considering that i could have just as easily for the same money ordered a .527 or .533.

If i like this one, I'll order two or three next time to save on skipping them over the pond.

but these are "block" moulds not bag moulds---maybe "BP shooting" is better category?

If your looking for a Bag Mold made in the USA, try Larry Callahan. They are top of the line. His web-site is www.bagmolds.com.
He also made a lot ot neet stuff. The standard mold is $50.00 and any custom one is $70.00. Good luck.

Yes, Those look great too. (Larry Callahan).

I did double check with Jeff Tanner to be sure that he charges ZERO extra for odd-sizes.

Hi Carney
Jeff Tanner. I have one in .672" IIRC and its nicely made. Gotta cut the sprues  with a side cutter but other than that its great.
