His Gillespie gunmakers book is featured on the blog today. Congratulations, Dennis. I'm looking forward to seeing your labor of love.

If you plan on making a Gillespie rifle, don't forget to order the scale drawing when you buy the book.    Then in about a year and a half  ;D you can end up with something like this.  I couldn't decide which rifle I liked the best so I used elements from all.  I call this my "new testament" rifle, it is influenced by Mathew, Mark, John and Phillip.

Well done Dennis! I know it was a labor of love. I'll be ordering a copy.
