Check out the Bonewitz Style Swivel breech Mark Wheland on the Contemporary Makers Blog Spot. http://contemporarymakers.blogspot.com/ (http://contemporarymakers.blogspot.com/). I got see this gun at the CLA Show. It is awesome!

His Bonewitz guns are crazygood. I have always seen Bonewitz as one of the very finest builders of the 1780's and 1790's, easily the equal of JP Beck and others who seem to have received more acclaim. That ought to rile some feathers but I am glad Mark is mining that vein and producing some real treasures.

Beautifully done in all aspects! No rumpled feathers here!

Work like that really humbles an aspiring gunmaker :o

Wonderful gun Mark. Superlative workmanship. Bring it to Dixon's this summer pls. so I can salivate all over it. Better yet, I'll wear my drool catching bib. I have shamelessly saved the images for futrue reference. hope that's ok.

Beautiful work as usual, Mark.

Taylor,
Does that mean the canadians are returning to Pennsylvania again?

Kunk...I'll be there, but neither Cody nor Brian can make it this year.
