1st annual LAUGHRY VALLEY TABLE SHOOT at friendship on October 5th. The table shoot has been accepted by the NMLRA for the Spring and Fall matches. Come out and try it.

That's also the Boy Scout camporee weekend. The two probably won't interfere with each other, but there will be more people on the grounds than a usual weekend.
-
Mark,
Do you know if these matches will be added to the Spring and Fall shoots next year?

Tony,
Yes table shooting will be part of the Spring and Fall program beginning next Spring. We petitioned the rifle committee and the board and were given approval during this past shoot.

It's not on the flyer for the Western in March. Chunk is, and I expect Table will be eventually. Maybe I should talk to them... :-\

Could someone post the rules and the match information as it will be shot? Sounds like fun, and wish I could be there but I can't. Hope everyone has a great time. :)

Kermit, check out the primitve range matches at the WNS. I think there was something along that line at this last years shoot. (2014)
-
Kermit, just found it in the 2014 program. Match 622b same rules as 622(Bill Large chunk match) except shot from a rustic bench. Didnt shoot it last year but plan on it in 2015.
-
Bill Large had a "rustic" bench on his range. It was about 4000 pounds of steel and concrete.
It didn't wiggle around much and it's still there.

Snuffer,
The rules are on our site at; targetx.boardhost.com. the only difference at the Laughry table shoot is that it will be 6 shots instead of 10.

The table shoot is not on the flyer yet at the western, because we have a finalize all the rules through the border directors. That will be done at december meeting it will then be on the spring and fall at friendship. Then see where it goes from there.

Thanks, Robin. I'll watch for it, and might make the Western this spring for other shooting. Then I can ask around.
