Hi all. New man here. Just wanted to comment on Ed Wenger's Bucks County rifle on the Blog. I believe this is one of the best looking rifles I have seen and to my untrained eye, he has done an excellent job on it. Beautiful rifle.
Ed said this is a Jack Brooks pattern. Can this pattern be ordered from Jack, if so could I get his email address?
Thanks in advance.

Ed certainly built a nice one there!
Jack's drawings are a wonderful resource.

Thanks Curtis. I'll be emailing Jack today.
The sleekness and of a Buck's county rifle and the way Ed executed this one amazes me.
Simply beautiful.
Were all Buck's county rifles carved or were there some plain ones? Were any iron mounted?
Thanks again.

Jack's site came back online today, but still no reply to email. Maybe he as a few to respond to or maybe the carrier pigeon dropped it. ???

Traveled to Virginia today to meet up with Ed Wenger and deliver some hardware for a Jaeger restock project. Visited a little bit and then we talked shop. He showed me this little Bucks County rifle...50 caliber I believe. Man, does it ever hold and shoulder nice! Anyone looking for a fine rifle for PA late season should give him a holler.
