Title: Horn while contemplating
Post by: b bogart on February 22, 2009, 03:51:03 AM
Here's what I'm passing the  time with while trying to resolve my screw up with the drum.

It's kinda small at 11", and I'm still trying to come up with some scratches. Stopper is white tail antler. Plug is poplar. Coat hanger staple. 2 cut fingers.

Edited out those pix to conserve space. B

Excellent color on that horn, I am sure your design will look great on it.

Bruce,

Just remember that even the makers of some of the originals weren't experts.  That's what I keep in the back of my head when I start a new horn. Man all the white on that horn is a perfect back drop for any scratching's.  Good Luck!

Good looking horn Bruce, nice work. That plug worked out well.
