Title: help with unknown gun maker

I was wondering if any of you have heard of a company called AMR? Here is a photo of the marking on the barrel. Thanks!

Are those the only markings on the gun? Ever bit of information can help.

Yes, that's it.  I assume that AMR is the brand and that C-44 is the caliber. Of course the other is the serial number.

Pete, I have sen this marking somewhere---in the past. It think it was on a SXS percussion shotgun of foreigh manufacture, not Europe, can't remember!!???..Ed
