Here are some pictures of the latest from the workshop of Mike Gahagan. WWW.BriceStultzhisblog.blogspot.com (http://WWW.BriceStultzhisblog.blogspot.com)

I like this rifle. Just enough carving an engraving to keep it a working mans gun an very tastefully aged ;D
-
Very nice rifle .Mike does nice work.Curt

That is some very clean, tight, work all around, nice rifle. I particularly like the incised carving.

Nice, very crisp work. I haven't seen Mike in years.
-
Those are wish list rifles for sure.
-
I added a patchbox shot that the owner forgot to send in the first pics.
-
That's a beautiful piece of work.
-
Got to handle the rifle yesterday. They don't get much better. Might get to shoot it in the next few days. The heat might dictate the shooting.
-
I like everything aboout it. A 10.
-
Very nice, I really like that style rifle. Is that a plain single trigger or single set? I'll bet the .60 will knock a big old hog over quite handily.
-
Mike really understands early longrifles. He's got it down to the point where you could see Schreit making THAT rifle, which is in the same style, but not a copy. Mastery of skills is one thing but his deep knowledge and sense of styles and artistry is unusual.

Ted: It is a single trigger. it is set up well enough that a set trigger would be overkill.
Teaser news flash: Hold on for pics of another Schreit rifle late next week.
