Waving to ALL OF YOU who weren't there - maybe next time.

Looks like MUCH fun Daryl. Would love to do a woods walk in that kind of country.

Maybe next time indeed. Nice. I'm sure some of my Canadian friends were there. ;D

That is really cool! Wish I could have been there too.
A rondy trail walk I went to required at least one foot touching the trail marker. Makes for a real challenge at certain stations.
-
Looks like it was a great time, would love to go to one those in the great white north, maybe some day.
-
That looked like a lot of fun -- I especially liked the flying target!!!

Thanks Daryl. I saw towards the end that folks were at stations 46,47, and 48. How many shooting stations are there in this event? If 48 or more - this is a great challenge. I'd be lucky to get 5 to 8 riflemen together who would shoot more then 10 to 15 shots in an event.
I like this, what you folks have up there!!! :)

48 rounds? I'm gonna need a bigger ball bag!

There are 49 stations or shots, but a few have two shots at a single station, ie: shots 37 and 38. We shoot half on the first day of the shoot and the other half on the second day, all in the morning. On the first day, you also have a 30 shot pistol trail, and a 24 station 'hawk and knife trail to do. On the second, in the afternoon after completing the second half of the rifle trail, there is a 20 shot trap shoot. We had two events on the last day of this three day shoot: a grouse shoot where you shoot heads off grouse - miss 2 x and elimination. The second event is a 9 shot gopher shoot - three shots on three gopher targets.
Daryl's off on a road trip with his dearly beloved, so I answered your questions.

Thanks Taylor, it sounds like a lot of fun and lots of shooting for folks who love to shoot. It has to be good times! :)

Best woods walk I've ever seen. It sure looks like smilin Times.

I gave it a "thumbs up". Kudos to your group. Quite an impressive woods walk. I like the fortress wall station. Lot of sweat equity went into that one I'm sure.

I really like your shoot Daryl, we just had our State shoot in Michigan 4 days of shootin alot of line matches and some primitive matches also. we have some good shooters, Being so close to Friendship IN has something to do with it I would guess lots of competition.
