Name: Maven (Paul Brasky)
Match: 50 yd.
Sights: Fixed.squarish notch
Gun: 54cal. Chambers/Isaac Haines w/R. Rice bbl.
Score: 32 as follows Ofhand = 13 (2 white + 2 black + 1 ctr.); Chunk = 19 (0 white + 3 black + 2 ctr.).
Particulars: powder charge was 80 gr. Diamondback FFg + .530" Tanner RB + .021" muslin patches lubed with 1 Ballistol : 6 water (patches were just shy of dripping wet). I was lucky in this match as my last chunk shot was in the center, which truly saved my bacon! As the gun still is shooting low with the .021" patches, I'm going to try .024" denim patches, which I've already cut, for the next match. Probably will have to drop the powder charge as well.
P.S. My initial posting of the score for the September match was in error as I was looking at the wrong data. I've since edited it to reflect the actual, but disappointing :( score.
