I got this about a year ago in trade. It is a smooth bore. 12 ga. wads fit just right. I shot it a couple
times with 60 gr FF 12 ga wad and a oz. of 6 shot. Shot real well, I just don't know anything about
it. Can someone tell me something about it?

looks like somebody just cobbed togther some diverse parts--is that an oak stock?

Looks like some sort of mountainman's interpretation of a blanket gun I would see at a rendezvous in Washington State. :D

Looks like cherry to me. Of course, I could be wrong, it's happened before.

That's a mid-19th Century Pirate Pistol, if I ever did see one.

You know, as long as it's safely breeched, it would be a GREAT blanket prize at a BP shoot, maybe even write it off as a 'charitable donation'. A young shooter would LOVE to have something like this. We lose perspective of the rest of the shooting world in our own little ALR.
