What's the name of the place online to get unplated wood screws? I usually make my own if its just a odd ball or need one I don't have. However I'm running short on my old supply and need to get some new ones.

If You are looking for oval head screws you might try Muzzleloader Building Supply. I've been buying them from Ron for several years.

I get mine from Log Cabin Gunshop in Lodi Ohio, High quality steel and take finish well.

If you need quantities,...... Blacksmith Bolt.

I just ordered some screws from MBSS yesterday. Good prices fast shipping.

I too have got them from Ryan at MLBS and I think Brownells also.

I buy plated ones from the hardware store so I can see the size and slot width in person. Soak them in Ty-D-Bol for about a minute to remove the plating.
