Title: Screws
Post by: B.Barker on June 30, 2018, 05:24:42 AM
What's the name of the place online to get unplated wood screws? I usually make my own if its just a odd ball or need one I don't have. However I'm running short on my old supply and need to get some new ones.

If You are looking for oval head screws you might try Muzzleloader Building Supply.  I've been buying them from Ron for several years.

I buy plated ones from the hardware store so I can see the size and slot width in person.  Soak them in Ty-D-Bol for about a minute to remove the plating.
