Not much of tease Gibster . This is posted in the museum here. It is kind of hard to find though. I thought the federal period eagle was a nice independence  touch.  This is a cherry stocked New England fowler . The lock is a replacement that was on it when I got it. There is at least one other known by this maker. Who ever he is. I believe it my be a Rhode Island made fowler. According to Tom Grinslade 's book Joe Puleo has done some research in this area . He my come up with some answers as to maker one day. There is some nice carving around the trigger guard , the lock and at the tang. It doesn't show up well in these old pictures.
