Title: what oil to wipe/clean a maple p++ stock?

I have a beautiful 1980's made TVM Southern Mountain Rifle with a p++ stock that is gorgeous! what should oil or polish should I use to wipe it down and help protect it?

Yup, a good paste floor wax is the ticket.  Briwax is excellent...have had a can since 1971.
