This box was commissioned by the wife of one of my customers as a Christmas gift. It's not a copy of any one box but a composite of a couple 18th century boxes. The smoking frog has significance to the new owner and was a request. The box is 4" across and about 1 1/4" high.It is tinned on the interior as better boxes of the time were.

Frog Morton
While the frog does bear resemblance to the "Frog Morton" frog it is used here as it is based on an 18th century pub song. The customer wanted the frog as a "remembrance" to a lost childhood friend.
