Just finished this ash stocked poor boy for a friend. It's my second go around with ash and I'm still undecided whether I like working with it. Anyway, it has a 40 cal 42" Rice A weight barrel, Rice triggers and an L&R Manton lock that has had the tail bobbed off. It tips the scales at 6lbs 11oz.

Very Nice, I like it! :)

I like it, too. Ash is an interesting wood and quite a visual departure from maple and walnut.

Nice work. I have a love hate relationship with curly ash. Hate working it, but love the end result. Every year or so I get the urge to build a TN out of curly ash.

I've got a piece waiting in the wings for the right project, like you've just done! Can't wait.
You're patience has paid off well! Beautiful po' boy!
