That is very cool Todd. It is definitely out of the ordinary here on the boards. You did a super job. The blade shape and the turning work looks sharp. I especially like the guard. God Bless, Marc

Really like that, Todd. Saw your post on FB and hoped you also posted here. Great job!

Another great piece! Well done.

That could stand in for "high art". Got any pics of it mounted?

I will take a picture of it in the barrel. It is for a 20 gauge Militiaman's musket I am working on. I won't finish the gun until this winter, no time to work on it right now to busy with the knives, hawks and a couple of swords. When I get it done I will post the pair.

Excellent bayonet!
Much prettier than the average plug bayonet.
You mentioned swords.
Would you be able to make a backwoods blacksmith's style copy of a European hunter's sword with a 16"-20" fullered blade?
Was it Roger's Rangers that had his men equipped with hunter's swords?
Thanks,
R.J.Bruce

I have done several hunting/hanger style swords, links below:

I am working on a 22 inch blade with fullers right now. I will post pictures when it is complete, my goal is to have it at CLA Show in August.
