Is anybody from ALR the happy fella who won that great book at Morphy´s auction yesterday?
My max was $450, but I was outbid at $500....
Would have been more than I ever paid for a single book anyhow... ;)
Still sad I did not get it.

This, next to the Bunker Hill powder horn, was the big surprise of the sale!
I have seen & bought a few copies of this in antique stores, etc., over the years, and have sold them on eBay or Amazon for about $125, I think--if I find another, my price just went up!

I shoulda bought more than one when I had the chance! Great book.

I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. Just floored! I think I'm going to pop my extra copy on eBay to pay for everyone's Christmas gifts!!!

Makes you think about buying extra copies of volume 2 while they are available at list price ...
-
I'm already on the case, dude!
