Title: The "Cellar Gun"?
Post by: Marty on July 30, 2008, 06:19:50 PM
I am looking for some detailed pictures of the "Cellar Gun". Its the one with the double patch box or Peanut box. I have it in the "Rifles of North Carolina" book and i got some from the "American Historic Services" website, but i am missing some key info. Thanks

Marty - there are a few more photos of it in Jim Johnson's "Accoutrements" book, Volume 3.  Anyway, I think Johnson might have some basic dimensions along with it, but not as detailed as Shumway.

I would love to see more detailed dimensions and information about this rifle if anyone frequents the board may know some more about it.
