considering reshaping and refinising one of my rifles. finished with lmf stain and chambers oil finish. it has been suggested to me that a 50/50 mix of denatured alcohol and laquer thinner will remove most of the finish and stain. yeah or nay, any suggestions. I well aware there will be a considerable amount of elbow grease involved.
