I recently aquired an old percussion barrel with the intials W F stamped just behind the rear sight dovetail. The adjacent flat has OHIO stamped on it. Barrel is 36" in length and right at .45 cal. 3 barrel lugs with spacing that indicates a full stock rifle. This came from an estate sale in TN.
This ring a bell to anyone? Any information is appreciated. Thanks,
Ken
