It was nice to get together last year with other ALR members and put faces with names. Thought we might do it again. Downstairs just outside the food court area seemed to work good last year. Any better suggestions? I'll start the bidding for Sat. around 11:00.

I'll be there. I'm looking forward to the show. ;D
Are there any ALR shirts still available? Somehow I got buried in a Computer System Installation and missed out on the ordering.
-
Yes, I enjoyed that as well. Good area, plenty of room, etc. Sounds like a plan to me........ ;)

You know I'll be there! Last year we met on Friday, but either day is ok by me. I think 11:00am is a good time.
I attended Dixon's Fair for the first time this year and was lucky enough to have dinner with a bunch of the ALR crew at the Fogelsville Hotel and it was a great time. Is there any interest in getting together for dinner on Friday and/or Saturday evening in Lexington? If there is, I'll find us a place.

Fri works better in my book. It seemed to be a little less crowded. I also like meeting everyone early in the show rather than right before walking out the door. I"m for changing to Fri if most everyone is good with that,

I would really enjoy meeting folks from the board. I can do it on Friday or Saturday, whenever more members can make it.

Larry Pletcher and I are coming Fri morning, 6 hour drive, would it be possible to make it 12 noon or 1:00pm?
We plan on leaving at 5:00 am and with no trouble will be arriving at 11:00 that may push it.

Well,
If it is Fri then lets make it around 3:00 in the food court. One of the tables close to the bottom of the escalator. That's down stairs for anyone making their first trip to the CLA show. 3:00 will give everyone time to travel, eat lunch and make a trip or two around the tables.
Looking forward to seeing everyone. Bring you toys for show and tell.
Cheers,
Ken

I hope to get down there and see everyone. Someitnes I get swamped at the table and forget. Or maybe it is that old time disease that gets to me.
See ya there

Friday at 3pm is fine with me. I enjoyed seeing everyone last year.
For those who will be there and may be interested, I have six copies of a dvd that I made
of the three rifles I studied at the Frazier museum and posted in the ALR forum. These are the
JP Beck Washington rifle, the Kuntz style rifle, and the Nathan Clause Lehigh rifle with the unusual side
plates and patch box. About 350 pix w/measurements.
These are free (a thank you for the tremendous help offered by ALR members).
There are a few catches:
1. The Frazier requests that none of the pix and info are used for commercial purposes.
2. Don't post or publish any pix without crediting the Frazier.
I have already sent some of these pix to members who contacted me privately. If more than six want
these, I can probably make a few more but I am not in the dvd business :D Perhaps those who get them
could share with others.
All the best
Paul

Friday at 3, sounds good. Will bring my latest barn gun along, had it at Dixon's, and is actually for sale. You know, just
kind of a plain gun, kind of "Kuntz" like, ha (doesn't have a checkered wrist)...........Don

I will be there too. Probably carrying Don's latest Barn Gun and I have a few new shot pouches to bring along.
-
I'll show if I don't forget or get busy at my table.
-
I'm gonna try and make it, but Dixon's sure did some serious damage to my budget. Hey, someone needs to take a group picture on Friday.

Well I start a new Job on the 10th,,,,, so I don't think I can make it this year. >:( >:(
I will miss seeing all you guys, Be sure to go by Wayne Elliot's table in the antique show to see his Southern guns. Also Brian Lamaster's table to see the Daniel Boone rifle.
My best to you all
