I am considering doing business online with Stonewall Creek Outfitters for the first time and would like to know the opinions of others who have done business with them.

 They are 1st rate. Ive bought lots of flints from them an all have been very good flints an they ship pretty darn fast

Not much need for caution in our little corner of the shooting sports world. Most everyone that you will deal with are straight up folks or they won’t last long.

I echo Stoner's comments. I learned at my first rendezvous that buckskinners live by the code and that is never to lie or cheat anyone. That,  I've found to be true with everyone involved in our sport or hobby whether it be reenacting 1700's or 1800's personalities or just building flintlocks and all the accoutrements that go along with them. You will never meet a more honest, truthful bunch of people anywhere.  If there comes along a bad egg, he or she won't last long. One bad deal and they are done.

It would not cross my mind to dispute any of that.  My better half and I have reenacted 1750's colonial personas since the early 1980's and that has consistently been our experience.
Having said that, I believe some caution is advisable when first dealing with a new vendor online.

They've been great to work with every time I've bought something. It would be tough to find a better vendor as far as I'm concerned.

WOW, talk about a stellar reputation!
I placed my order yesterday and had a nice conversation with Shannon.  I mentioned this inquiry and the many exceptionally positive replies.
Perhaps they will pick up a few more new customers due to this thread.
