Title: ALR Museum Gunsmith: Conestoga Rifle Company and owner H. Leman
Post by: hurricane on September 21, 2009, 09:32:11 PM
This is a fine example of a utilitarian gun clearly unembellished and produced in large numbers by Henry Leman of Lancaster, PA. This is an "every mans" gun, produced in large numbers by Leman in his "factory", the Conestoga Rifle Company. Two other of his guns are also exhibited here.
A more complete biography is posted  with one of the other Leman guns in our exhibit.
