Title: Ron Scott Detail Carving Tool
Post by: John Proud on September 27, 2021, 05:51:53 PM
I purchased this tool a few months ago after seeing it posted on the For Sale Forum. It does an impressive job on cleaning up around stock carvings. However, I make many more powder horns than guns and sometimes run into "issues" carving designs along the engrail line. Got the idea to give Ron's tool a try on a design that can be troublesome and time consuming. The photo shows that engrail line where Ron's tool did a better job in much less time than I could have done it with the palm chisels that I usually use for such a task.

Good to know, John!  Ron makes tools of fantastic quality, just like his guns.
