Trying to figure out what a reasonable value range for this would be. .62 caliber (20 gauge), unknown lock and unknown barrel. Slight taper octagon to a mildly swamped round barrel. Looks to be in very good shape. No idea who or when it was made, but seems well done. I'm almost certain this is a kit gun. What's a fair value on something like this?

Bones the parts would run about $800. There is a nice Fowling piece on GB right now taht has gone through a couple of auctions and hasn't sold for $1400. So I am thinking right between the two, prob $1100 to $1200 ...

Ed is on the money so to speak. But it is very nicely built. Right place, right time, might go as high as $1600. To get the same gun built would run $1800 minimum.
Wood isn’t getting any cheaper and shipping is up. It’s pretty easy to spend $750 from what I hear on a precarve stock with a barrel inlet, to your door, when all is said and done. That can put a parts set over $1000 easily.
There are also a good number of folks waiting on the upcoming Kibler smoothbore CNC kit and so, in the market for a gun like this but less likely to buy a used gun already made. So unless it ticks off their boxes in a special way, it’s got that for competition.

Looks to be a nicely made gun, very nice lines and subtleties. I have no idea as to value.

Looks to me to be VERY nicely made. I guess what it amounts to and always does, is: what would YOU pay for it.

Strange that someone who could engrave that well wouldn't have signed the piece. Either the engraving was done by someone else or the builder didn't want his/her name on it. Either way the engraving would add a little. My guess is $1400-$1600.

Bones92 are you selling it or buying..?
Looks like a very well made gun.
My guess is around $1500. would be a fair value.

It's definitely a good looking, finely built smoothbore. I'm not up on values but I know a very nice gun when I see one.
-
has it been shot much? I would put the value at $1800

Looks like a Chamber’s Kit.

It's an L&R lock so it isn't chambers. Looks like a TOTW kit.

Like everything else,it's what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller. If it has a good quality lock that might add a bonus to the final cost......maybe.
