Title: Sterling silver triggergard, made from scratch
Post by: Rolf on August 10, 2008, 09:32:32 PM
I've ironed out the bugs in the process of making triggergards from scratch and posted a revised tutorial on the subject. The main difference is how the tang is attached to the bow. The tutorial is a bit long winded. I added everthing I thought could be of help.

This is one of  the finished triggergards in sterling silver.

Rolfkt,

Thanks for the updated tutorial!!  Very timely as I am just getting ready to make a guard for my current build.  ;D   < and also a butt plate!  :P>

Not a traditional flinter,, as I tend to build Under hammer and Mule ear guns. Helpful, just the same!!!

Respect Always
