Not mine of course, but a pal shared this on another forum.
He Ok'd me to share them.
Staggering amount of work!...and beautifully done!
We will have to get at our barrel makers to produce these!

wow! That is beyond cool. A staggering amount of work by someone (s) with a lot of skill and talent. No wonder you don't see many like that. I am continually amazed at what they did back in the day that would be a stretch for our modern ability. Thanks for sharing that. I'm going to have to think about this awhile.

Man. i can't stop being amazed at this. How cool is the "dual" ramrod system?

Otto,
I don't see a "dual" ramrod system -- [I see a dual barrel system] --- Look at the end of the insert sleeve, I see a muzzle end that looks like it has some type of small caliber micro rifling with an exterior clip to fasten to the muzzle end of the barrel !!!!
Best Regards,
Robert

The dual ramrod is under the extended inner rifle bl. The smaller, innner ramrod is partially pulled out, just as the inner barrel is.

Sure is an amazing piece.

Otto & Daryl,
I see the "dual" ramrod now --- makes sense if you have 2 barrels.
Best Regards,
Robert

One of the reasons I like old firearms - IMO clone or replication does not hit the mark just my subjective opinion.
