Hi Runar: I don't think any one is tired of your restoration projects, in fact me and most here eagerly await your posts as they are informative and educational when we can seem how you solve all kinds of gunsmithing tasks. Thanks for sharing your amazing fabrication skills with us. :)
-
Runar, please don't stop posting your build & restoration projects. It's always great to see how you do the things you do.
-
I'm glad you asked if we're tired of seeing this because it made me look at your post history so I could find out what I've missed!
Can you restore that stock to firing shape with a full break that bad or will you need to replace a section of the stock? Can't wait to see what you come up with. Any idea what your plan is yet?
-
I always find your threads most informative. I always love seeing other’s approaches to repair and restoration.
-
NO thing boring about any of your posts and the time you take to do these jobs and then post while you do it is well worth watching and we respect your efforts to restore antique arms we would never be aware of without these pictures.Keep it up,we are always waiting and they are always interesting.

Seeing how you make parts, solve potential problems - all wonderful lessons for many of us. I marvel at your
ingenuity & skill.

Thank you guys Im humble! The first thing I alvays check is if the gun loaded, and yes this was a big loud of blackpowder and shot maby 100 plus-minus old!And all metal parts in water like the old timers. The stock is then glued with Brownells bedding wery nice and can be building , the next is new wood with lockpanel.

Fascinating to see how it’s done by a master.
-
So how bad is the process for lining up those stock sections and getting pressure that pulls them together? Do they tend to flex in to the side on which the board they're also strapped to is placed?
-
Runar, I never tire of any of your posts. I always learn something from them. They've made me a more knowledgeable and better gun maker.
-
Runar, that Acraglass is great stuff, should make a fine repair! This looks like a fun project. Carry on!

Very nice restoration; BRAVO!
-
Excellent Runar! Thanks for showing us firearms from another part of the world that I, for one, am not too familiar with. What an education you provide!
-
You are quite the craftsman Runar! Thanks for sharing this project of yours. I can't wait for the next one! :-)
-
Nice job, well done.
-
Another quality job Runar, it looks grand!

Thank you guys!

-
Runar, you have done it AGAIN! Such splendid work - maybe you should show it to the world in a museum.
Should you find another needing repair/restoration, let me make a try at it. Won't be near as good as yours, though.
-
I enjoyed your presentation we can always learn.
