Good piece and good photos.  Eric Bye wrote up a great article on that piece also in an old issue of MB magazine, although I don;t off the top of my head remember the year or month.  Probably around Y2K give or take.

Excellent article and photos. Thank you for the link.  I really enjoy these Rev War guns.

Could someone help me with the pronunciation of Ame?

Is it as Aim a gun or Ah Me with sort of a french twist?  Or just plain Amy??

I know its a simple question but alas I am a deep southerner and it could be anything.

Perhaps I asked the unanswerable as few of us are still around to have actually heard Ame pronounced 😉
