It’s rare for unsigned New England fowlers not attributed to belonging to a famous historical person to sell for over $10k. Here’s an interesting one that went for a pretty penny. Might be on my to build list now.

It's the George Neumann association and the fact that it's been published. That's $$$.

The repair to the cock appears to be done in a neat manner. Any ideas on if that repair is a common one used? I have seen a few that were brazed and a couple that were welded.

I stopped at 9500.00 I was hoping to buy it for my birthday :(

A very “cool” gun.....especially while gripping that well done brass wrist repair in cold weather.
Ive never built a club butt. May have to add that to the list.

Nice looking gun and interesting, but with 36” of forearm stretched and no historical significance other than being in Neumann’s collection, I think the original estimate was more realistic. Apparently I’m missing something.

I tend to agree, but sure was a good price on the Hudson Valley Fowler.
