Title: Nock patent lock disassembly
Post by: Mattox Forge on January 27, 2023, 01:39:59 AM
Hi all,

I picked this lock up in a recent auction. Does anyone know the correct way to  disassemble it? It is really well made, as you would expect from a top maker like Nock.

Also know as the "Nock screwless lock", attached is a link to a video regarding disassembly.

Thanks Steve, I should have known to check YouTube. I am always surprised at what's on there.

Good to see this interesting and rather rare lock over on the other channel Mike!

A search over there will produce some hits. I linked one for you.
The hash marks are for keeping the correct lock with the right gun when pulled down by armourers for inspection.
