Title: Tryon Fur Trade Gun ???

Hello
Recently got these parts from a gentleman that has owned them since the 1950's.
He acquired them from Saskatchewan, Canada. There was no wood to be had only the lock, serpent and barrel (cut to about 22")
My interests are the barrel stamping.  Is this a Tryon thing or did he put it on his trade guns?

Is there any special meaning to the barrel stamping related to trade guns?

I do not claim to be the "do all and end all" of Tryon Trade Guns But I've observed quite a number of them, mostly photographically, and it seems that no two are identical, so as far as the stamps on the barrel, you would be led to believe that they had quite a variation of stamps to choose from and had been allowed a certain degree of creativity in choosing what might have been attractive to the Native American market at the time. And, as always, I reserve the right to be absolutely incorrect about every bit of information I present to this or any other forum. ;)

Pages listing information. # 107-108-109-110 (Barrel similar to the barrel you shared with us. TRADE and TREATY

Morning and thank you for your input and reminding me that I really need to pick up a copy of this book.  ☺☺☺  It is something that has been on my mind for a few months.
