Description
Octagonal, smooth barrel merging into round in 17.5 mm calibre. Flintlock, crown slightly plastered on the lock plate, lock gear defective. Full stock with partially engraved brass furniture, iron ramrod. Iron parts patinated and with traces of corrosion, forend with cracks and additions. Length 136 cm.

That's a nice example. It's rare to see a Germanic fowling gun without a cheek piece. In my experience anyway.

I wonder what this means exactly...... doesn't sound like language gun folks would use.
