Title: Bear or Bean

Thumbing thru upcoming auctions today, found this.  Is the signature Bear or Bean?  Not interested in buying it; just curious.

I am not sure but I think there is an engraved accent mark just to the top right of the R/N. Not sure what that may indicate.

That looks like the J. Bean that ended up in Illinois, I believe. Not a Tennessee Bean for sure.
