I'm looking for a 1795 Springfield Musket kit so far all I can find is a Pedersoli , even google search don't find any hits. Are there any other sources for a 1795 Springfield kits?

There may be some fro the India manufacturers but their quality is more than suspect.

I'm not afraid of India , seems all that google turns up is Pedersoli.

the rifle shop shows type 1,2 and 3

I'll give them a call thanks I saw their site earlier "Parts Set" hmm is that the same as a DIY kit.

yes , and you also have to build the lock, or have it done. i hear they no longer assemble them.

awesome , thanks!

I'm not making assumptions, but be aware that building a TRS kit is not like building a Chambers or similar kit. They require a lot of experience to turn out a nice product. Building the lock from their castings set IMHO should be left to a pro. Also be prepared to wait over a year for TRS to get all your components together for the kit.

Thanks I will consider and research building the lock.

I own a Pedersoli M1795 and its a quality built musket. That being said it's a huge beast and has a lot of excess wood on it. I will be going to The Rifle Shop next Friday to drop off a small order and I can check to see if they have any M1795 parts on hand if you would like.

Just left TRS. They have parts for the 1795 muskets. They also have a lot of English type parts in stock. Would have gotten more details but the wife was with me and kind of in a hurry.
