Apparently the gun I sent to Switzerland has made the front page of the area news. She has sent photo's of the Front page and the rest of the article on another page.Unfortunately it's all in French (what else?) except my name. Anyone care to do some translating for me?

My wife may be able to help out on that. She would have some trouble with firearms specific words but we could probably help her through that.
Another thing you could try is to scan it to a pdf, copy and past the text into a word processor to make a text document and then copy and paste into one of the internet translation sites.

the trouble with any computer translations is the image is a photograph of a news paper. The Lady in Switzerland wrote an article about the rifle I gave them but it's in the French speaking part of Switzerland. It must have been big news over there - it made front page above the fold! :D
Send me your email & I'll fwd the pictures.

Sweet!
Looking forward to the translation!

My wife could be of help as well. Was pretty fluent as a student over there.
This must be pretty good for US-Suisse relations! Good on ya!

I think the headline says something like;
A luxury rifle returned from America,,,, or something like that.

"Le Locle rifle back from America." "Le Locle" is the name of the town; locloise is sort of "from Le Locle."
The rest of the print is too small........

Bet that if you track down L'Impartial newspaper on the Internet, that they'd send you a copy.

what a concept! :D
