Definitely a good one to pick up... lots of context/history along with the detailed pictures, tying both together.  Thanks for the point-out, Dennis!

I saw Fainot in the index. I do not have the book but can anyone who has the book say if this is a passing reference to Fainot in the book, or is there new information presented?

It is closest to a passing reference. No Fainot-signed guns.

I think the book is a great value for anyone interested in early guns made and/or used in New York. The photos and illustrations are older but there’s good visual value snd the research is outstanding and newly brought together in one place.
